• Dryer Repair

    • For best results, clean the lint filter before each load.
    • When drying only 1 0r 2 items, toss in a few items of varying size to promote good tumbling action and improve drying results.  Dryers with an auto-dry cycle will not dry properly with a very small load in the tumbler.
    • If drying is taking longer than it should, clean the vent hose and the lint filter screen to allow airflow.
    • If possible, vacuum the inside of the dryer to prevent fire dangers.
    • Clean the sensor strips with fine sandpaper from time to time to prevent incorrect dryness readings.
    • If you're in a rush for a load of laundry to dry, toss a clean, thick, cotton towel in the dryer with the wet clothes.  The towel absorbs some of the moisture so the clothes dry faster.
    • If clothes are left in the dryer too long and are wrinkled, toss in a damp towel and turn on the dryer for 15 minute intervals until wrinkles smooth out.
